David Bascome, who played professional indoor soccer for 17 years, is entering his 1st year as head coach, after 14th seasons as assistant coach. He was named to the position on October 12, 2006 and has since helped lead the team to the 2008, 2009, 2013, and 2016 Championships. During his 17-year playing career, Bascome won three championships, all with the Blast.
Blast Fans, get ready for some incredible indoor soccer action as the next generation of talent takes center stage at NERCC! The Baltimore Blast Holiday Tournament is returning, bringing the speed, skill, and excitement that makes indoor soccer so special to our youth players.
From December 26-29, young athletes from across the region will compete in a high-skill, high action tournament. This four-day tournament features divisions for all age groups from U8 through High School, with both boys’ and girls’ brackets ensuring everyone has their chance to shine.
