To Our Valued Fans

We are off to a rough start as we transition to a more youthful, faster and aggressive team. It is not easy to see veterans leave after being a serious part of our many Championships.

Currently, we are blending the young players with many returning veterans. Injuries and Immigration issues have forced us to delay setting our final team roster. Examples are: Ozzy Annang, who is recovering from knee surgery and will be back soon. Moises Gonzalez, who is battling a respiratory issue. Victor Parreiras, who will get his schedule cleared to play the balance of the season.

Nevertheless, Jairo Guevara, Eric Lorent and Oumar Sylla are getting acclimated to indoor play from their outdoor play. We are hopeful that they will have an impact soon. Jonatas Melo and Kevaughn Frater are working through Visa issues and we are all hopeful this will be resolved soon. We are excited about Jesus Pacheco (23 yrs. old) being a significant part of our playoff run.

We hope that you, the best fans in the MASL, will watch as we improve when the players learn to play together. Also, impact players will be coming back from injuries and Visa issues to help us win.

Like you, we are all about winning- soon! We are all going to try to make the playoffs as we have for all these years.

It’s not how you start. It’s how you finish.

Sincerely,
Baltimore Blast Management and Team

It is not easy to see our favorite players leave and play on other teams.. My family and I have been Blast fans from the beginning. We have faith in these players and are sure they will start to gel as as well organized team. Play your type a of game and God will be with you always. Play hard but above all play safe!! The victories will come, just be patient.

Anyone who has watched game 1 and Game 2 this year you can see a difference in the team already. We know its going to take time for these guys to gel and learn one anothers styles on the floor. I have no doubt this team is going to get better and start winning games. David Bascome, and Adauto Neto will figure it out. Fans need to just have faith and get on board with this game plan and show up and support the team.
