In the regular season finale, Baltimore fell to the Silver Knights by a score of 6-4. In front of a crowd of 3,007, Bo Jelovac had three goals and two assists for Syracuse. Daniel Peruzzi recorded two goals and one assist for the Blast.


Syracuse came out and was able to control possession in the first half. They were able to capitalize by scoring the first three goals of the game. Bo Jelovac, Jake Schindler, and Nate Bordeau’s PP goal gave the Silver Knights a 3-0 lead. Tony Donatelli was able to answer with a goal 12 seconds later for the Blast. Bo Jelovac got his second goal of the game to give Syracuse a 4-1 lead at halftime.

Baltimore’s Daniel Peruzzi scored two goals in the third quarter, with a goal by Syracuse’s Jelovac sandwiched in between. The Silver Knights took a 5-3 lead going into the fourth quarter. Jereme Raley scored midway through the fourth quarter for the Blast to make it a one-goal game, but Syracuse’s defense held tough and Kenardo Forbes added an empty-net goal to secure the Silver Knights victory.


The loss snaps a two-game winning streak for Baltimore. The Blast and Syracuse both went 1-1 on the power play. Jereme Raley had a goal and an assist and Pat Healey had two assists for the Blast. Jake Schindler and Kenardo Forbes recorded one goal and one assist each for the Silver Knights and goalkeeper Andrew Coughlin had 13 saves in the game.


The Blast are back in action in the first round of the playoffs when they travel back to Syracuse on Thursday, March 8th at 7:05 p.m. EST.
