BLAST ANNOUNCES GAME CHANGE
Friday Night’s Game vs. the KiXX has been Moved To March 13

Baltimore Blast President and General Manager announced today that the game scheduled for Friday night against the Philadelphia KiXX has been moved to Saturday, March 13 due to the snowstorm and poor driving conditions in the Baltimore and Philadelphia areas.  The bobble head promotion scheduled for Friday night has also been moved to March 13.

“This is obviously an unusual situation, however, with two back-to-back snow storms we’re looking out for the safety of our fans as well as our players and staff,” said Healey.  “Friday night’s game will be played on March 13th and the Mike Lookingland and Machel Millwood bobble heads will be given out on that night.”
The 2009-10 season marks the 30th season of professional indoor soccer in Baltimore, making Baltimore the only city in the United States to boast 30 consecutive years of professional soccer.  The Blast, who have won five of the last seven league championships, are 5-6 on the season and in fourth place, will travel to Monterrey on Saturday for a Sunday evening match against La RaZa before returning to 1st Mariner Arena to host La RaZa on the 19th.

Fans who have tickets for the game that was supposed to be played Friday night should keep those tickets and use them on March 13th.

Single-game tickets for the remaining Blast home games are available at the 1st Mariner Arena Box Office and at all TicketMaster outlets including TicketMaster phonecharge at 410-547-SEAT.  Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.  Tickets cost $30, $22, $19 and $16.  For additional information on Blast tickets, call the Blast at 410-73-BLAST.
