Baltimore Players to Watch:

Baltimore is led on offense by Tony Donatelli, Vini Dantas, and Jonatas Melo. Donatelli leads the team with 12 goals and 13 assists, for 25 points on the year. His 25 points are tied for tenth in the MASL and his 13 assists are tied for sixth in the league. Dantas has recorded eight goals and six assists on the season. Dantas, who has missed the last 4 games with a hamstring injury, is probable to play this weekend. Melo is second on the team with eight assists this season.

The Blast defense is led by Pat Healey and Adriano Dos Santos. Healey leads the team with 20 blocked shots this year, which is third in the league. Healey, who has missed the last 2 games with a hamstring injury, is questionable to play this weekend. Dos Santos contributes both on offense and defense, with 12 blocked shots and nine points on the year. 2-time Goalkeeper of the Year William Vanzela anchors the Blast defense. He ranks in the top 3 in the MASL in GAA (4.20), save percentage (.766), and wins (10).

 

The Competition- Kansas City Comets 

Kansas City is led on offense by Leo Gibson, Bryan Perez, and Ignacio Flores. Gibson leads the team in goals (13), assists (19), and points (32). His 32 points are tied for fourth in the MASL and his 19 assists rank third in the league. Perez is second on the team with 11 goals and ten assists, for 21 points. Defender Ignacio Flores is a threat all over the field. He is tied for the team lead with 12 blocked shots while also being third on the team with 18 points. Casey Gasson and Steven Hamersky are the goalkeepers for the Comets.

 

The Competition- Harrisburg Heat

Harrisburg is led on offense by Thiago Freitas, Ricardo Carvalho, Lucio Gonzaga, and Elmo Neto. Freitas leads the team with 21 assists and 24 points. His 21 assists are second in the MASL. Carvalho is second on the team with 19 points (12 goals and seven assists). Defender Lucio Gonzaga leads the team with 14 goals this season, while also leading the team with 19 blocked shots. Gonzaga will serve the first of his league-mandated 3-game suspension against the Blast this weekend. Neto has contributed eight goals and two assists for ten points this season. Hugo Silva is in goal for the Heat. Silva has also contributed to the Heat offense this year, with one goal and three assists on the season.
